Legal Advocacy For Construction Business Owners
Contracts are the lifeblood of the construction industry. One of the most important legal services our construction attorneys provide is contract drafting and review. We can draft contracts with your subcontractors and vendors, review contracts that are presented to you, and provide contract enforcement services should you face a breach of contract. Many disputes can be avoided with clear contracts, and we can avoid litigation if we include alternative dispute resolution requirements, like arbitration or mediation, in your contracts. We protect your business interests at each step and provide insightful risk assessment.
One thing consistent about construction projects is that they are unpredictable. If you’re faced with a change order or a demand for additional money or time, we can take the lead in determining the best course of action. These incidents often lead to costly litigation, further delaying the project, so we strive for swift, cost-effective solutions.
